The easiest way to turn a spare room or garage into a real golf bay. The Carl's Place DIY Enclosure Kit gives you the impact screen, the enclosure, and every fitting you need. Add the frame pipes and you can be hitting balls the same afternoon.
What makes it work
-
Image all the way to the floor: the screen has no bottom border. A cable along the bottom edge holds it down, so your turf runs straight into the picture.
-
Less bounceback: releasable zip ties and 6" ball bungees let you set the screen tension to match your swing speed and how close you hit.
-
Protects your walls: a black nylon enclosure surrounds the screen. It catches misses, shades the screen so the image looks brighter, and saves your drywall.
-
Quick to put together: most kits go up in about an hour, faster with a helper.
Choose your impact screen
-
Standard: the budget pick. Heavy-duty polyester with a looser weave.
-
Preferred: a tighter knit with silicone reinforcement, for a smoother surface and a sharper image.
-
Premium: three layers of impact-resistant polyester, the smoothest surface and the best image quality.
Sizes
7.7' x 10', 8' x 8', 8' x 10.5', 8.5' x 11.5', 7.7' x 13', and 9' x 12'. The rear fittings sit back about 8¼" behind the listed size, which also gives you a little buffer from the back wall.
What's in the box
- Your choice of Standard, Preferred, or Premium impact screen
- Black nylon enclosure (ceiling and side panels)
- Steel corner fittings
- Releasable zip ties and 6" ball bungees
- A cut list showing the pipe lengths and quantities you need
Framing
The DIY kit uses 1" EMT conduit, which most hardware stores carry. PVC won't fit the fittings. Pipes aren't included, but you can add Carl's Pre-Cut Pipe Framing Kit when you order.
Before you buy
- Stand 10–12 feet from the screen when you hit.
- Leave buffer space around the enclosure, and account for your ceiling height, your tallest golfer, and your longest club.
- Each kit is made to order, so lead times can vary.
